David Leonhardt compares Obama's and Romney's tax plans and Medicare plans

Just finished listening to Terry Gross’ recent interview w/ David Leonhardt, New York Times Washington bureau chief. Thought it was really great — reasonably fair and balanced, understandable, in plain English. He compares Obama’s and Romney’s tax plans, Medicare plans and conflicting claims on whether Americans are better off now than four years ago. In sum, he suggests that while it’s fair to say that the typical American household is NOT better off than it was four years ago, the country as a whole IS.
